Kincaid XC #2

Register online until midnight TONIGHT. You can also register before the race, but it's more expensive! $17 for adults, $3 for juniors (17 and under).

Registration is from 5:30-6:30pm in the LOWER STADIUM LOT, below the Chalet and behind the giant scoreboard. WE WILL NOT BE OUT AT LITTLE CAMPBELL LAKE - this is a change, so please share with your racer friends!

Pre-race meeting will be around 6:45pm, race starts at 7pm sharp.

If you registered for the entire series, you do not need to register again - you're already in the system. You do, however, need to check in with the registration table before the race to let us know you are racing.

DON'T FORGET YOUR BEARBELL - you may not race without one. We do have bear bells for sale at the race - $5.

DON'T FORGET YOUR RACE NUMBER - if you raced in Kincaid XC #1, you will use your same number. If you do not have a number yet, we will get you one when you check in at the registration table.

24 Hours of Kincaid is THIS weekend!
Register online until midnight tomorrow (Tuesday, June 18). You can also register at bib pick-up, but it's more expensive!
Bib pick-ups: Chain Reaction on Wednesday from 4-6pm, Speedway Cycles on Thursday from 12-3pm.

Times & Fees:

• Register on-site from 6:00-6:45pm, pre-race meeting around 6:50pm.
• First group will start at 7pm, the second group will start around 7:30pm. The way the groups are split will depend on who shows up! Typically there will be a faster, more advanced group that will race for 30 minutes plus one lap, and a more novice/intermediate group that will race for 20 minutes, plus one lap. 
• There is no online registration for this race, so please bring cash or check to the registration table. 
• $15 for adults, juniors (17 & under) race free! (if you purchased the Kincaid XC Race Series Pass, please note that this race is NOT part of that pass)

Race Beta:

• Please use your 2013 Kincaid XC series race number (this is only if you participated in last Tuesday's race) - if you have not yet raced with us this year, then we will give you a brand new number!
• No race map because it will take you just a few minutes to pre-ride the course.  So it's a surprise until you get there! 
• The course is short - typically under 1 mile (usually takes the expert group around 3-4 minutes per lap) and the goal of the race is to get as many laps in as possible in the time allowed. Once the final lap bell is rung, racers have one more to go! 
• While this race does not count towards points or is part of the Kincaid XC Series, it is a great race and one you won't want to miss! Bring your family and friends, because it's also a great race for spectators - racers are constantly whizzing by!

Important Deets:

• Please park in the far north end of the Hillside parking lot (drive past the Hilltop Chalet, into the dirt parking lot). 
• You must be a member of the Arctic Bike Club to race. Join HERE.
• Helmets are required.
• Bear bells are not required for this race.

Thanks for coming out, everyone! What a wonderful way to start the MTB race season - 115 racers! Nice job to you all.

TONIGHT: Kincaid XC #1

Details:

Online registration is now closed, but you can still register at the race.

Registration and bib pick-up is tonight in the lower stadium parking lot from 5:30-6:30pm. Even if you registered online, you MUST stop by the registration table to get your race number. 

Day-of registration prices are $17 for adults, $3 for juniors (under 18).

Pre-race meeting at 6:45, race will start promptly (cross your fingers) at 7pm.

We will be based out of the lower stadium parking lot (behind the giant scoreboard).  Head west on Raspberry into Kincaid Park. Before you reach the very end of the road (where the Chalet is located), you'll see a big parking lot on your right after you come down the hill. You'll also see a ton of vehicles and a ton of people on bikes. Can't miss us!

Kincaid XC Series:
Registering online means you keep paying the super cheap fee of $15 per race. Juniors (17 & under) are still free if you register them online! Registration at the race (day-of) is now $17 for adults and $3 for juniors.

24 Hours of Kincaid:
Registering online means you save $10 regardless of which category you choose! YIPPEE!

Moral of this post: we REALLY want you to register online!

It's almost that time again!

Holy moly, is that sunshine not the best thing you've felt for 9 months!?!

We are gearing up for a great season of mountain bike racing and hope you are ready to get on your mountain bike!

A couple of things to share with you:

1) ONLINE REGISTRATION - oh yes, now you will be able to register online for any of our events! We are in the last stages of approval (and set-up), so registration for the Kincaid XC Series and the 24 Hours of Kincaid will be open VERY soon. You will notice little registration buttons around this website, but none of them are linked up, so right now they are just there to tease you.

2) You may still register day-of-race, but it will be more expensive. We REALLY want everyone to get in the habit of registering online, even the juniors (whom are free), because it allows us to download the start list the night before the race and get it all plugged in to our timing system. We have to enter race-day entrants manually, which is super tedious and sucks up a lot of time right before the race starts.

3) First race of the season: next Tuesday, June 4. Kincaid XC #1. Check in at the registration table (whether you registered online or not, you still have to check in and grab your race number) from 5:30-6:30pm, pre-race meeting will be at 6:45, race starts at 7pm. This race will be based out of the lower stadium lot (the parking lot behind the giant scoreboard). See you all there!
